Play Radio

About

Broadcasting daily on 6085 kHz shortwave and 24/7 online, the station is named after the radio ship mv Mi Amigo, home to Radio Caroline and Radio Mi Amigo, broadcasting anchored in the North Sea between 1958 and 1980. Many of our current DJ crew, such as Emperor Rosko, Johnny Lewis, Paul Graham, Lion Keezer a.o. served on this legendary radio ship and can still be heard with new shows today. Presented in the original 'Free Radio' style introduced by the offshore radio stations, a unique collection of familiar and sometimes rare and hard to find songs bring back the best memories from this 'Golden Era' in radio and popmusic. Although we use the latest audio technology to present the best HD stereo sound available in internet audio streams today, that original legendary mono AM sound of the offshore stations can still be experienced through our powerful shortwave transmitter, daily from 09:00 - 19:00 hrs [cet] on 6085 kHz in the 49m band.
